Wants to buy shoes for you or your kids for various purposes. I myself tried for reviews suggestions for running shoes. I wanted shoes that I can run full marathon. I visited websites online, then visited stores available nearby, they were asking me, what distance? Full marathon, half marathon, 10 km, 5 km. Then I started searching for shoes with full marathon capabilities. I was surprised to know the price and built is very different for full marathon shoes. So the price also varies across the brands. Only international companies make full marathon shoes, with few Indian companies like Nivia. I straight forward brought Nivia Marathon Shoes online. Nivia Marathon Shoes are good for beginners.

Thereafter, I brought Campus Running Shoe. I recommend for 10 k and even 5 k campus shoes are great choice. So I ran my first Marathon in Campus Shoes. I am an office going person, so I purchased it in black colour. So that I can wear it to office too. I started using it in office also. I was earlier using Leather Shoes of  Lee Cooper. I was having some issue called “Planter Fasciitis” . So this shoe was a little relief. The best part is that ,I was still searching internet and recommendations for proper full marathon runing shoes. Then I came to know that  shoes brands, that make good shoes are:-

1. Hoka

2. Nike

3.Asics

4. Brooks

5. Adidas

9 Kiprun

But for to satisfy myself with the quality and price. So I went to Asics, Asics is having very good shoe “Gel Kayano 31” I tried that shoe, and found amazing fit, but  costed Rs15000/-. It is a great shoe for flat feet. Also our pronation will also get cured with this shoe. But deeper I searched many things I came to know.  I came to know that marathon running shoes are very light and generally mesh structure and give you forward motion while running. Also there is drop (difference in height between the heel and forefoot.). beginners should not need to worry about the drop too much. Just good fitting shoe is sufficient. The following thing you should take into consideration for buying shoes.

1. Keep shoe a little larger than your feet size as while running your toe might get hurt or feel pain after 2km or 3 km. So shoes should be at least one size more than actual size.

2. Shoe should have outer material mesh type for sweat wicking and for air circulation.

3. Please do not spend more money on 1 st purchase. If you are planning to buy proper shoe buy 2 shoes. As in rainy season you will have option in case shoe catches rain and becomes wet. Also if you wash you will have another one to use

Overall if you are planning to run short distances then it is good to buy even campus shoe like terminator and Nivia shoe like Street Runner , Nivia Spikes, Street Runner , Endeavour for running till 5 k. But if you are looking for 10 k, 20 k , 42 k. Also Nike has many shoes you can pick up any in your budget. I suggest to buy shoes of some local and cheaper ones. Then if you are serious about participating in 5 km, 10 km, HM, M runs then switch to good ones from Hoka, Nike or Kiprun KD 900. I used Decathlon Shoe Kiprun 900 which I used for 10 K run also suitable for full marathon. This shoe is the one I am presently using for marathon running. This shoe has a drop needed and comfort for me to run that much distance. Also it doesn’t hurt my ankles and heels. I have had many runs in it. I have to inform you that NIKE vaporfly is the best in the category. It has proper sole and is capable for giving you forward motion in 10km races to marathon and even ultra Marathon.

But individual shoe size and shape has bearing on your choice.I recommend visiting stores nearby before buying online. And who knows you might get a shoe at the discount even in offline, shops and even in branded shops.!!!!
